Late Mr. Ebrahim Rajedia, the esteemed founder of the EDR Group, was born on March 1, 1937, in Zafripura, a quaint village in North Gujarat. He was the youngest of four children in his family. His father, Mr. Dawood Rajedia, faced significant hardships due to poor financial decisions, which resulted in the loss of his own land and that of a friend, as a consequence of unpaid loans.
Tragedy struck the family in 1944, when Mr. Dawood Rajedia was fatally attacked while working on the farm. His untimely demise left his wife, Mrs. Halima Rajedia, widowed and solely responsible for raising their four young children amidst challenging circumstances.
Our Late Managing Director was a visionary leader and the driving force behind the establishment of two pioneering companies. His unwavering dedication, integrity, and passion continue to serve as a source of inspiration for all.
Through his remarkable leadership, he left an enduring legacy that remains deeply ingrained in the culture and success of both organizations. His contributions are a cornerstone of their continued commitment to excellence and innovation.
